Lies, Damn Lies, and the Use & Misuse of Polls?

There is a national poll diary shooting up the rec list showing Hillary with a 14 point lead Nationally over Bernie!!!!!!!!!  People I respect writing diaries that the sky is falling on Bernie’s head!!!! Hillary, Hillary, Hillary!!!!!!!   Un — huh. 

Bernie improved 3 points from Monday’s last national CNN poll, where he was -17 by the way. But what is interesting in the CNN poll showing Bernie down 17 points to Hillary is that it also shows him completely destroying all the Republicans by mostly double digits where she struggles against all but Trump. Bernie still beats Trump by more in that poll. In other National polls it is many times even more of a drubbing of Trump by Bernie compared with Hillary. There is no mention, of course, of this in those diaries. It as if the polls themselves are bipolar and the one side good for Hillary is wonderful, and the other part of the same poll showing her as, perhaps, the wrong national election choice, doesn’t exist. Weird that. By the way, the Rassmusen Hillary v Trump poll today where she was +5 over Trump. BUT NO SANDERS v TRUMP?  Why not? 

I started noticing that if state polls exist on the MSM or most anywhere they are almost always favoring Hillary. They seem to be being used as a weapon to dishearten Sanders voters, a propaganda device. Maybe the kids or people won’t show up if they think it is impossible. Bang the drums….. Hey stop already. We are going to let every state vote. What are you afraid of?  It’s the way of a Democracy, no? Bernie said so and we are funding him and he doesn’t lie. We are going to Philly. OK. So stop with the super delegate bullshit and the non-sense. It cheapens you all. We are going all the way and let everyone vote. Even Guam. 

I want folks on this site, most all of whom I overwhelmingly like no matter what candidate they endorse, to know that I have never believed more then I do now that Hillary Clinton can not beat Bernie Sanders in the primaries, in most of the last 25 states. Where are her slam dunks like she had in the south in the first 15 states? Maryland? North Carolina? Delaware? New York? Illinois? I don’t think it will be easy going. But go west of the Mississippi and I see only Missouri as being where she is a favorite to win. Maybe not even there. She is ahead in a state poll in Michigan but I don’t buy it. We will see. My son lives there and he says it is Bernie as far as he can see. Here they are after Florida, I believe, in order. My bold I believe he has a good shot to win and maybe more states will present themselves as this plays out. I think time can not hurt Bernie. It did not hurt President Obama. 

That is why the MSM want to use “polls” as a weapon. We need to talk issues but seems we always gravitate toward the polls, just not the ones showing Hillary not doing as well as Sanders in the general. Throw a blanket over those polls and put them in the closet. 

At the bottom I have listed the very last poll in many of the states this year. You tell me what is going on. By the way, if you look at today’s Real Clear Politics Body of Polls you will see Mississippi and Louisiana but we do not see Nebraska or Kansas. You will hear now “it is impossible to poll caucuses” bullshit. As if somehow you can not ask folks questions in a state to get their opinion. Well we had over 90 polls for the Iowa caucuses alone and 9 for Nevada where the “it is impossible to poll caucuses” meme began. I wonder why?

Anyway nothing to see here, move on is what they want but the mind tricks are not going to work. The kids are hip. Ever wonder why there has been no solid polling of California, Washington, or Oregon lately? That’s 636 delegates!!!!  What would happen to the “inevitable” storyline if it came out via a very reputable pollster that Bernie was doing fabulous out there. What if he was doing 65 — 35 good out there or better. What happens then? Her insurmountable lead is GONE!

Do I know any of this? No. But we do know in places on the West Coast where folks are more progressive then even Bernie Sanders (can you imagine that)  this might certainly be happening underneath. I mean they already have legalized marijuana and have a $15 minimum wage passed out there. He is perhaps not seen as so radical out there as in, say, Mississippi. We got a little taste of it in Colorado and Minnesota. Do you think with drought and wildfires they are a bit more sensitive to climate change than say South Carolina on the west coast?

I also read today in the LA Times her funding might be drying up a bit. I can tell you our goal is to raise fifty to sixty million dollars for Bernie this month. We have two extra days by the way ; — ) I helped do it for Barack in 2008 and 2012 and I am now focused on Bernie Sanders and his down ticket supporters. My crew and I helped in February and we will help even more in March. 

Check out the last polls from real clear politics in some races. She outperformed only in South Carolina and she did so handily (credit where credit is due. They needed it and they got it done). 

I am giving her certainly Mississippi, Louisiana, and Florida by wide margins. After that the going gets very dicey for Hillary. It will be more dicey if she fails to match Bernie in the fund raising department in March, April, and May. 

We all know he is doing this from a starting point that seemed impossible. He is doing this with the MSM throwing him an anchor while he’s trying to swim. He is doing this with the Wall Street, Military industrial Complex, the energy sector, and nearly every establishment Democrat against him and helping Hillary EVERYWHERE and ANYWAY they can. Propaganda like you would not believe. I saw a picture of Dylan Roof burning an American flag with a Bernie shirt photo shopped on him that has been spread around. Disgusting but there it is. 

The kitchen sink, the washing machine, the dryer, has been thrown at him while he’s tied up in the clothes line but there he was today with money in the bank and a full house in Lincoln Nebraska and an overflow crowd outside.

Minnesota last poll Clinton “commanding” +34   Final Result Sanders 61.6% to Clinton 38.4 Greater win than New Hampshire!

By the way did you know that Bernie Sanders got more votes in Minnesota then all Republicans combined. Check it out. Sanders 118,135     Republicans Rubio 41,126, Cruz 32, 684, Trump 24,018, Carson 8,233    Do the math.
